Pre-docking Inspections

Before you dock your vessel, we would advise conducting a pre-docking boiler inspection to mitigate and prevent the risk of potential last-minute issues or unexpected surprises that may arise and ultimately lead to significant repairs or operational delays.

Automation fault finding

Our experienced and knowledgeable engineers can examine your boiler for faults and defects. We offer servicing for all types of control systems and are able to supply spare parts in most cases.

Health and safety check

Our services include a health and safety assessment for all burner types from various manufacturers. With our hands-on experience, we ensure your burner is handled with care and provide a full report.

Pre-docking Inspections

We advise all vessel owners to have a PDI of the vessel’s boilers, economisers, burners and control systems prior to a scheduled dry-docking period. Additionally, this precaution is essential to avoid any unexpected issues during the docking period, which may consequently lead to significant repairs or even potentially delay the vessel’s return to sea.

Our experienced inspectors can conduct a complete inspection of your vessel’s furnace and pressure parts, boiler mounts, regulating valves, burners and control system.  

Following the inspection, the vessel’s superintendent will receive a comprehensive report summarising all the work carried out, findings and suggestions to keep your boiler in safe and operational condition. 

Automation Fault Finding

Our automation engineers specialise in automation checks, alarm checks, fault finding and repairing boiler control systems. Moreover, we have years of experience in identifying and troubleshooting faults within both electrical and mechanical automation systems.  

We are capable of servicing any and all types of control systems and in most instances, can supply any necessary spare parts.   

Health and safety check

Global Boiler Aalborg offers optimisation, service and repair through our dedicated engineers. Having hands-on experience with all burner types available on the market and from a wide range of manufacturers.

We perform combustion tuning by using flue gas measurements and visual inspections. Our flue gas analysers are calibrated on a frequent basis to guarantee highly accurate adjustments and optimal system performance.

Once the burner tuning is complete, you will receive a full report with the flue gas measurements included.
